Medical settings of necessity create more garbage than we would like, for the purpose of infection control and patient/ provider protection. Over the years, we have done our best to minimize our environmental impact by reducing waste.

Currently, we do the following, and are always looking for more we can do:

Recycling of masks, gloves, bibs and suction tips with a local company
Recycling of office paper, containers and soft plastics
Use of reusable, sterilizable dental products wherever possible
Use recycled paper products
Use of fabric sterilization bags (designed and made in-house!)
Use of washable towels wherever possible
Composting of kitchen green waste (including Dr. Jain’s copious tea leaves)
